Here are just a few of the ways you can qualify for membership:
- State of Michigan employees (including retirees) who live or work in Branch, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee or Washtenaw county
- City of Jackson, Jackson County employees (including retirees)
- Blackman, Summit or Leoni Township employees
- Employees of Michigan Railroads and family members
- Retirees that live in Branch, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee or Washtenaw County or one of the contiguous counties
- Employees of businesses that are located within 25 miles of the credit union's offices and which have requested service from our credit union.
- Members of organized groups or employees or members of organized groups that are located within 25 miles of one of the credit union's offices which have requested service from our credit union.
South Central Credit Union (SCCU) is a member-owned provider of financial services. We are dedicated to quality member service and to the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People". Once named South Central State Employees Credit Union (SCSECU), our name was changed when we expanded our membership base.
